EARED CAP

Known as “a little eared” or “pilot”. Regardless of the nomenclature, it is simply a very warm and comfortable headwear for children of all ages. The main advantage over ordinary beanies is that the “pilot” does not slip off the head and does not reveal the ears (it is fastened under the chin). It warms not only the head or the aforementioned ears, but also the cheeks.especially since its inner layer is a fluffy and cuddly merino POLAR! The outer layer is a quilted thin material with hydrophobic properties (water flows over it), and in between there is Primaloft, a very advanced synthetic insulation (50% recycled), with amazing properties (read below).

What is PrimaLoft? It’s a synthetic insulation – an alternative to a natural down, and superior in a few ways. Most importantly: it keeps you warm even when it’s wet! It doesn’t get dirty or clamp, so it doesn’t lose its elasticity (this characteristic is most important when it comes to material’s thermal specifications).

In our products we use PrimaLofts most advanced insulation version – Gold – a relatively thin insulation that offers very high thermal characteristics.

PrimaLofts main advantages:

  • It’s super light, super soft and super elastic.
  • It keeps you warm even when it’s wet and it dries quickly.
  • It’s made of 55% recycled polyester.
  • It is windproof.
  • It’s antiallergic and resistant to fungi and bacterias.

Merino wool advantages:

– Great thermoregulation – wonderfully warms when it’s cold, but at the same time prevents overheating when it gets warmer. Additionally, it protects against UV rays.
– Moisture wicking – merino wool wicks moisture away from the body and – unlike e.g. cotton T-shirts – does not make you feel cold when you sweat during exercise. It dries very quickly.
– It does not bite – this type of wool is extremely delicate and pleasant to the skin, even if it is in direct contact with it.
– It breathes – that’s why merino clothing is great for intense activities.
– It is flexible – it works perfectly with the body, and at the same time it does not stretch or deform.
– It has antibacterial properties – merino wool inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. What does it mean? 1. That it reduces unpleasant odors when we sweat. 2. That it can (and should) be washed less often than cotton or synthetic clothes.
– Environmentally friendly – merino wool is 100% biodegradable.
– The merino wool we use comes from the EU and is certified muesling free.

Note: 100% Merino Fleece products may pill due to friction.

NOTE: The cap is not flexible, so it has a small “stretch” range. Therefore, in the case of the head circumference at the border of sizes, we suggest taking a larger size.
