Stroller 5in1 is a softshell coat for every occasion! It’s dedicated to pregnant women, as well as mums wearing their children in slings or carriers. To modify its use you simply attach the fabric panel or the Snuggle to it and you’re ready to go.

• The fabric panel attached to the front of the coat creates additional space for your pregnant belly or a baby in a sling.
• You can also order a coat with a back panel, if you babywear on your back.
• It is possible to order the Stroller in a set with the Snuggle. This allows you to wear your baby on the front and  the back. This solution works especially well for older kids, who don’t fit under the coat with a panel.

It is worth mentioning that both our Stroller and Snuggle can be worn separately (as opposed to traditional jackets for two), so the set can be used by both parents, for example dad carries the baby while mom can wear both parts, or just the coat when she goes out on her own ;).

It’s not likely, as different jackets are fitted with different kinds of zips.

If you’re planning on babywearing only for the first few months of your baby’s life then the front panel will be enough. However, the Snuggle gives you lots more options and configurations.

First of all, it won’t get too cramped as your baby grows – it might be under the coat with a panel.

Second of all, the Snuggle can be used without the coat, for example during hiking trips, as a cover for the pushchair or when the dad carries the baby.

Third of all, it gives the baby more room to move, which is very important on the physiotherapeutic level.

Lastly, the Snuggle, opposed to the panel on its own, has a spacious hood, so in unpleasant weather it protects the baby’s head better.

Many women at the beginning of their pregnancy decide to only buy the coat – as it has an oversize cut anyway. With time you might find that there’s no more room for the belly, and that’s when the front panel comes in handy. It’s additionally useful, as it’ll also cover the baby in a sling.

Many babywearing parents emphasize that it is one of the most important/useful products they had an opportunity to use while sling wearing and at the beginning of parenthood in general! The Snuggle is MaBiBi’s original design, full of innovative improvements. It’s not just a typical liner for a sling, but a multi-functional cover, which can be used all year round over a sling or a carrier. From first till last days of your babywearing!

Thanks to a removable warmer the Snuggle comes in handy throughout the year! Without the fleece layer you’re left with a thin ‘base’, which can be used as a wind or rain cover. This thin base can be easily folded into a tine package and kept on hand, in case of a weather emergency. Especially when we include a special bag-pack with every Snuggle.

Snuggle’s got numerous additional uses:

• as a cover for a car seat – we fasten the baby in the car seat at home (without outdoor clothing!) and we cover it with the Snuggle. Then we carry the baby to the car (even in rain or snow), where we take the Snuggy off and fasten the seatbelts. It’s very important, as babies shouldn’t travel in thick jackets or suits. 
• as a cover for bike seats – even with a light temperature drop your little one sitting still in the bike seat can get really cold. Huggy will eliminate this issue and will keep your child warm and dry even in the rain.
• as a cover for a pram/stroller – it can easily replace your pushchair’s winter cover or protect your child from the rain.
• blanket/changing mat –  as mentioned above – lay the Snuggle completely flat and use it as a blanket or a changing mat.

Waterproof fabrics should be washed in 30 degrees Celsius and mild detergents. It’s worth adding an impregnating agent or, after the wash, apply it directly to the fabric. 

Notice! The Snuggle should be washed separately or you should secure the velcros, so that they don’t attach to and damage other clothes.

Thanks to its removable fleece layer the Snuggle is an all year round product – the waterproof base works as a rain cape or a windproof cover. Our clients also use the Snuggle as a cover for pushchairs, car or bike seats. 

For those of you who prefer more traditional clothing for two we’d like to offer a great solution: the Stroller coat with an option to attach the Snuggle! It works almost the same as a traditional jacket for two, but it allows you to modify it freely. For example, mum might be wearing the coat itself, while dad carries the baby covered with the Snuggle.

Generally, a child in a sling or a carrier should have a similar amount of layers as their parent. So if you’re using a Snuggle with the fleece insert in winter you shouldn’t dress your child additionally in a jacket or a suit – that’s the role of the Snuggle.

SUGGESTED clothing: bodysuit, long sleeve, jumper or hoodie. Bottom: tights or joggers, thick socks or warm shoes (like our Warmies). Alternatively, instead of a jumper and trousers you can dress your child in a soft fleece or wool suit. Your child will only need additional head and neck cover. For that you could consider our Mabby ;). A baby dressed like this can be wrapped in a sling over your jumper. Then we put on the Snuggle and a jacket, which stays unzipped. There’s no need to worry about getting cold, as you’ll be kept warm by your child, the sling and the Snuggle and your necks are comfortable under the neck warmer. The Snuggle itself – held by the harness – goes up almost to your back, so it’ll keep your sides warm as well. If you carry your child on the back you put it on exactly like the sling or a carrier over your outdoor clothing.

Parents and carers who are planning to wear their babies for longer than six months can order the Snuggle in the Toddler size – at the beginning the baby will have some more leg room, but it won’t affect its functionality. Similarly, the Preschool size is dedicated to children over size 80, but if we have a baby that’s younger than six months old and we know our babywearing adventure will last longer, Snuggle’s largest size is the best choice – it’ll probably serve us until the end of our babywearing days.
