MERINO GLOVES

Merino needs no introduction… So, let us present our merino wool gloves in fleece. In short – wonderfully fluffy and warm “lamb” in a retro style! 😀 The fleece length on the gloves is an impressive 8 mm, and the fabric density is 450 g/m²! At the wrists, we’ve used an ultra-soft and delicate cuff, made from 99% merino wool, of course!

Why are our merino adult gloves so special? It’s because of the properties of merino wool:

  • Great thermoregulation – wonderfully warms when it’s cold, but at the same time prevents overheating when it gets warmer. Additionally, it protects against UV rays.
  • Moisture wicking – merino wool wicks moisture away from the body, does not make you feel cold when you sweat during exercise. It dries very quickly.
  • It does not itchy – this type of wool is extremely delicate and pleasant to the skin, even if it is in direct contact with it.
  • It breathes – that’s why merino clothing is great for intense activities.
  • It is flexible – it works perfectly with the body, and at the same time it does not stretch or deform.
  • It has antibacterial properties – merino wool inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. What does it mean?
    1. That it reduces unpleasant odors when we sweat.
    2. That it can (and should) be washed less often than cotton or synthetic clothes.
  • Environmentally friendly – merino wool is 100% biodegradable.
  • The merino wool we use comes from the EU and is certified mulesing free.

Adult gloves are a unique product, so they require special care 🙂 We recommend shaking out your gloves before first use to remove loose fibers. If the wool scent is too strong, you can air them outside before wearing. The texture of the material may change over time, becoming slightly more compact.

Remember to care for your merino gloves properly:

  • Absorb fresh stains with a dry tissue.
  • For “older” stains, you can brush them out or spot clean.
  • Refresh the wool by airing it out or… freezing it!

Washing wool in a washing machine is not recommended, but if you decide to do so 😉 it’s at your own risk. If you proceed, remember to:

  • Use a wool washing program.
  • Avoid fabric softeners.
  • Do not spin-dry at high speeds.
  • Do not tumble dry.

The fleece used for the gloves may have a slight “prickling” sensation. However, the cuff at the wrists is exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch.
