ZIP-UP HOODIE IN 100% MERINO FLEECE

Jacket or zip-up hoodie? It depends on what you need! The cut makes it easy to use as a hoodie under other outerwear, while the properties of merino fleece give it every right to be called a jacket 🙂

It provides total thermal comfort from your wrist to the top of your head 😉 Perfect for staying home on winter evenings, for a walk, or for sports activities.

Our 3-in-1 merino fleece zip-up hoodie is:

• Loose-fitting – it can successfully serve as outerwear, but when combined with our softshell parka / kangaroo jacket / softshell jacket, they create the perfect winter set! 😀
• With a spacious hood – to protect your head from wind and cold.
• With a zipper – it makes it easy to put on and allows you to attach a maternity panel / multifunctional panel to the front or back, creating turbo-soft maternity wear! The zippers we use are Polish-made and nickel-free.
• Includes a hanging loop – so you don’t damage or stretch the wool by hanging it by the hood.
• With zippered pockets.

Properties of merino wool:

• Excellent thermoregulation – it warms you up beautifully when it’s cold, while simultaneously preventing overheating when it gets warmer. Additionally, it protects against UV rays.
• Moisture-wicking – merino wool wicks moisture away from the body and – unlike, for example, cotton t-shirts – doesn’t cause a cold feeling when you sweat during exercise. It dries very quickly 🙂
• Non-itchy – this type of wool is softer than traditional fleece wool.
• Breathable – that’s why merino clothing works great during intense activities!
• Flexible – it moves perfectly with the body while not overstretching or losing its shape.
• Antibacterial properties – merino wool inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi. What does this mean? Firstly, it limits unpleasant odors when you sweat. Secondly, it can (and actually should) be washed less often than cotton or synthetic clothes.
• Eco-friendly – merino wool is 100% biodegradable.

The merino wool we use is GOTS certified, meaning it is sourced and produced ethically, with care for animal welfare.

NOTE – merino fleece is elastic, so the actual product dimensions may differ by up to 1-2 cm from those provided on the website.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Remember to properly care for your merino items:

• Absorb fresh stains with a dry tissue.
• “Older” stains can be brushed out or spot-cleaned.
• Refresh the wool by airing it out in the fresh air or… freezing it!
• If necessary, hand wash at 30℃ using wool detergent (rinse at the same temperature), squeeze out excess water into a dry towel (do not wring!), and dry flat.

Machine washing is not recommended; however, if you decide to do it anyway 😉 you do so at your own risk. Remember to:

• Use a wool wash program.
• Do not use fabric softeners.
• Use a low spin cycle.
• Do not tumble dry.
